Shelved in 1997, Feeler offers no real radio-friendly hit like "Possum Kingdom," though rockers may like "Dead Boy" even better. Being obviously influenced by the Stone Temple Pilots may not have went over well with indie snobs, but Feeler's sludgy power chords and riffs-without-the-hits alienated corporate honchos too, as alt rock began to flounder commercially, leaving the band in no man's land. Uneven, but those who liked that ubiquitous '95 single may want to give it a try.
