Listening to this bluesy southern belle (Southern New Jersey, that is) gives you the ambient feeling you just walked into a bar in New Orleans: excitement, comfort and raw powerful emotion.
Nardello's sophisticated vocals blend and top the warm sounds of saxophone and deep acoustic guitars. This album feels so personal. Straight down to the lyrics, Andrea Nardello exposes real emotion everyone can relate to. The song "Lie to Me" hit me right in the heart. The suffering pain was translated perfectly though her melody and lyrics. There's even a cover of "Me and Bobby McGee" thrown in. Awesome.
