Fast and relentless, or slow and grueling, Contamination just barely falls sort of being original. The intro sets the mood for some seriously dark stuff and, instrumentally, we give extra kudos to the endless pummeling percussion, but the album struggles to find its own unique niche amidst the hundreds of metal bands out there. Not that different, but definitely decent black metal.
