Frog Eyes are the perennial love-them-or-hate-them bad, and while this album is definitely their most accessible to date it will do nothing to change that. If you do enjoy the band, this album is a great example of everything they do right. Whether it's Mercer's howling and hyper-literate lyrics or the metronome like drumming, Paul's Tomb is another great addition from an underrated band.
