Ever wondered what Death Cab for Cutie would sound like if you added horns and keyboard? The answer is Brasstronaut. On their debut album, Mt. Chimaera, they present a jazzy alternative pop-rock sound that could be easily admired by listeners of various genres. The hauntingly beautiful last track, "Insects", is an ideal wrap-up for this album, encompassing both heavy and light samples of their work.
