Serious soul searching comes out of Philadelphia, courtesy of Drexel U's Mad Dragon Records. The journey begins with an eleven track album filled with elements of blues and roots music. This is clear with the first track, "Throw Me Down." This is a rustic and emotional song about traveling to the river to find peace. Gritty blues riffs and soulful vocals pepper this album, start to finish. In a word: Refreshing!
