Finally an indie album that kicks a little ass, something sorely missing in the land of Grizzly Bear and Sufjan Stevens. Granted, the album comes scarily close to an NBA game at points and "Straight A's" sounds like a Chipmunk singing heavy metal. Still, this album rocks and a little excess can be excused for the greater good.
