Folk guitar runs into southern soul. Christian Beach's self titled album is neither a country album nor a gospel album (fact: there is a genre of music called Christian Beach). It is a grouping of vocally driven songs that seem to pull from a time of simpler, not less complicated production. Very well worth a listen to get to know.
